Le coeur du japon
Changer pour une chose merveilleuse
Kumiko is the art of decorating interior spaces with interwoven light and shadow.
Kumiko is an art form of Japanese origin.
While creating spaces with light and shadow, we feel a sense of all four seasons.
The beauty of simplicity created through complex Kumiko patterns. Japanese people have always appreciated the beauty and value of clean and intentional spaces.
We hope our products will become part of your daily life, not only used as Japanese architecture. Our desire is to never be constrained by using only Japanese styles but also to be inspired by Western culture.
We strive to pass on the beauty, sensitivity and elaboration of Kumiko with our innovative artistry to the next generation.
Connecting people and preserving tradition
Tradition

Kumiko has a history of more than 1300 years.
It has been used as Tategu (joinery or frames) for Japanese Ranma and Shoji sliding doors.
The decorative Tategu adds an artisanal beauty to Japanese households.
TOSAKUMIKO believes that it is our mission to pass on tradition and craftsmanship to the next generation.
